Global Relations provides official letters of invitation for partner administrators and staff visiting the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign for official business purposes or as a guest of the chancellor, provost, college dean or other senior leader. Requests for a letter of invitation must be submitted by Illinois staff or faculty with a verifiable business purpose.

Regrettably, Global Relations cannot provide letters to current/future students or their family members for the purposes of obtaining a visa to visit the United States. How to Request a Letter

To request a letter(s), Illinois staff or faculty may submit the Global Relations Report Request Form. A verifiable business purpose is required upon submission.
